Come and experience some of Wiltshire’s most spectacular trails at the Salisbury Plain Winter Edition.

Set across the vast landscape of Salisbury Plain, this is proper winter trail running. Expect a mixture of established footpaths, byways and hard-packed tracks, with tough climbs, exposed sections and plenty of open countryside.

And then there’s the weather.

Salisbury Plain in December can be brutal. Wind, rain, mud, cold - potentially all four! Conditions can transform the course and turn an already challenging trail race into something considerably tougher.

If you’re looking for an easy winter run, this probably isn’t it.

The route will be fully marked by our team ahead of race day, with marshals positioned at key road crossings. Trail shoes are strongly recommended.

Our well-stocked aid stations will help keep you moving, with water, juice, cola and a mixture of sweet and savoury food available along the route. An experienced medical and safety team will also be supporting the event.

Every finisher receives a medal, with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers.
